goodbye 2008, what a horrible and uneventful year you were.

the start of 2009 might be a little bumpy, counting down with our dummy-proof party set in atee's car, instead of a) at yanni's crib or b) at siglap's starbucks but it was warm and fuzzy to see the people dear to your heart right til the veryveryvery last moment of 2008 and also, right at the veryveryvery first millisecond of 2009. however as we should have learnt by now, good times dont last. the revelation of transiting into my early twenties in exactly 5 months and 6 days hit me real hard, putting me in a self-pity/denial/destructive state. im depressed :( my life seems more bleak and meaningless than ever but still, i must come up with my annual New Year Resolution and not stick to it.
